Ø     Involvement of Students and faculty in academic affairs / improvements is encouraged in terms of additional academic input, teaching methodology, extra curricular activities through elected committees of students and faculty coordinators.

Ø      MBA – two year full time degree programme approved by AICTE and affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.

Ø      No. of Seats – 120

Ø      Duration – 2 Years full time.

Ø      Cut of mark for admission during the last 2 years – Minimum 60% at graduation level.

Ø      Fee Rs.49,168/- p.a. as fixed by State Fee Fixation Committee.

Ø      A placement Cell is working headed by Placement Officer to provide the placement facility to the students.

Ø      Various students have been placed through Placement Cell with minimum salary Rs.8,000/-p.m. Maximum Rs.22,000/- p.m. and average of monthly salary is Rs.12,000/-.

VI. FEE

Ø      Rs.49,168/- p.a. excluding Hostel charges and Security Deposit.

Ø      Time Schedule – Entire fee is to be paid by the students Semester wise.

Ø      Scholarships - Awarded  to the students of institute securing 1st three positions in the University. Amount of scholarship Rs.1,50,000/-.

Ø      Criteria for Fee Waivers

A.     Scholarship to the students of institute securing 1st three position in their respective class. –    1st position – Rs.2000 per month

2nd position – Rs.1000 per month

3rd position – Rs.500 per month

B.  On the basis of Socio-economic condition –

-         to students belonging to economically weaker sections.

-         to girls                                     

(Fee waivers are granted as per the decision of Admission Committee).

Ø      Estimated cost for boarding lodging – Hostel charges – Rs.14,500/- p.a. and Mess charges Rs.1000/- per month approximately.

VII. ADMISSION

Ø      Number of seats sanctioned with the year of approval-120 for the year 2008-2009.

Ø      Number of students admitted under various categories –119 in the year   2007-08 and 120 students are expected in the year 2008-2009. Admissions are under process.

Ø      No. of applications received 1375 in the year 2007-08 and 1307, in the year    2008-09.

VIII. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Ø      Admission Test being followed-

(i)                 U.P. State Entrance Examination conducted by U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. Website – www.uptu.nic.in.

(ii)               MAT Examination conducted by All India Management Association, Delhi, Website – www.aima-ind.org

(iii)             85% seats allotted to candidates from UPSEE, 15% seats allotted to candidates from MAT Examinaiton.

Ø      Calendar (for 15% seats)

-         Last date for request for applications – 15th June

-         Last date for submission of application – 10th July

-         Last date for Group Discussion / Interview – 30th July

-         Dates for announcing the results – 5th August

-         Release of admission list – 6th August

-         Dates for acceptance by candidates – 20th August

-         Last date for closing of admission – 25th August

-         Starting of the Academic Session – as per the academic calendar of U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.

-         The policy of refund of the fee, in case of withdrawal – other than tution fee, all other fee will be refunded.

IX. CRITERIA & WEIGHTAGE (for 15% seats)

-         Admission Test – 50%

-         GD                      - 25%

-         Interview             - 25%

-         50% the cut-off level of percentage.
